Biosite Charitable Giving
Biosite® Incorporated is committed to investing our contributions wisely to strengthen the communities in which our employees live and work. We focus our philanthropic giving in funding support programs for the disease states our research and products address, and in science education. Biosite is dedicated to helping enhance quality-of-life through our volunteers and mentors sharing their expertise, though financial support and by providing novel, rapid diagnostics that improve the diagnosis of critical diseases.
Biosite will consider proposals from not-for-profit organizations whose programs fall within the broad giving categories of healthcare and science education, in addition to grassroots efforts in our key communities. Biosite will review submitted proposals on a quarterly basis.

Biosite appreciates the growing needs of organizations throughout our communities. We regret that we cannot accommodate the requests of all deserving programs that may qualify for funding. However, we assure prospective applicants that all requests receive a fair review, and ask of you, prior to submitting a request, to carefully consider how your program’s mission fits within our guidelines. In order to be reviewed, all requests must be fully completed in a hard copy.
Requests will not be reviewed unless they include the following requirements:
- Biosite Charitable Giving Request Form
- Documentation of IRS designated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or international equivalent
- Summary of the organization's objectives and purpose
- Thorough description of the event/program and the specific request
- Explanation of how the organization will acknowledge Biosite’s support
Biosite’s contributions program is not designed to benefit:
- Religious, veteran, political, labor/fraternal, bands or sports organizations
- Individuals or travel support
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation or national origin
- Beauty pageants or talent competitions
