Triage Census® Connectivity

Users who enjoy the added functionality that Triage Census Data Management software provides and want the value that comes from connectivity can take advantage of both.

Biosite offers an interface package that communicates between Census and the LIS. This bi-directional interface enables order entry and resulting without operator intervention.

Additional Connectivity

Biosite also collaborates with leading LIS interfacing companies. Typically, these companies can connect several vendors' instruments or data management systems. Please contact Biosite Technical Support for a list of current interfaces.

Standard Interfaces

The Triage Meters have built-in data transfer protocols that conform to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards E1394 and E1381. Patient Test, QC Simulator Test and QC Sample Test results are available to be read from the Triage Meters. Institutions that choose to write their own interfaces will be provided documentation to allow their programmers to read data from the meter.
