Quality Control (QC)

• QC Internal Standard check of laser and optics performed at time of each diagnostic.
• Meter specific QC Simulator device for testing meter alignment and calibration, with programmable mandatory frequency.
• Optional user ID tracking. When set, requires user performing diagnostic to enter user ID prior to commencing. Checks user ID against list and expiration date.

QC lockout when:

• QC Internal Standard check fails
• On board control material does not fall within limits
• External controls not performed on reagent lot being used
• External controls not performed within programmed frequency
• QC Simulator not performed within programmed frequency
• User ID not valid or expired
