Triage® Meters
Triage® Meters are designed to provide diagnostic results quickly and easily. Quantitative diagnostic panel results are displayed and printed in easy to read numbers and highlighted when the result is above the cutoff. Qualitative diagnostic panel results are displayed as positive (POS) or negative (NEG), eliminating the need for interpretation of lines that often hamper qualitative diagnostics.
Cardiovascular Diseases
- Triage® BNP Test
An immunoassay that measures B-type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) in whole blood or plasma, used:- as an aid in the diagnosis of CHF
- as an aid in the assessment of severity of CHF
- for the risk stratification of patients with ACS
- for the risk stratification of patients with HF
- Triage® Cardiac Panel
An immunoassay for the quantitative determination of CK-MB, myoglobin, and troponin I in whole blood or plasma, as an aid in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.
- Triage® CardioProfilER® Panel
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction, the diagnosis and assessment of severity of congestive heart failure, and the risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes and congestive heart failure. One panel combines troponin I, CK-MB, myoglobin, and BNP to provide rapid, accurate results in whole blood and plasma.
- Triage® Profiler S.O.B.TM Panel
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction, the diagnosis and assessment of severity of heart disease, the assessment and evaluation of patients suspected of having disseminated intravascular coagulation and thromboembolic events including pulmonary embolism and DVT, and the risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes and congestive heart failure. One panel combines BNP, CK-MB, D-dimer, myoglobin and troponin I.
- Triage® D-Dimer Test
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the assessment and evaluation of patients suspected of having disseminated intravascular coagulation or thromboembolic events including pulmonary embolism (PE). - NEW! Triage® NGAL Test (Not available in the USA)
Biosite proudly announces the availability of the Triage® NGAL Test for the rapid quantitative determination of Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL). With the simple application of ~250 µl of EDTA anticoagulated whole blood or plasma, it provides a quantitative result in approximately 15 minutes at either the point of care or in the clinical lab. This test requires no sample processing, precision pipetting or daily liquid controls and runs on the established Triage® Meters, which are widely deployed throughout the world.
Drug Screening
- Triage® TOX Drug Screen
A fluorescence immunoassay intended to be used with the Triage® Meters for the point-of-care qualitative determination of major metabolites of amphetamines, methamphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine, THC and trycylic antidepressants in urine.
